First hole in one of the season
On Wednesday July 21st we had our first hole in 2010. Brad Larsen aced #8 with a PW. This was his first hole in one and happened to also be his birthday. What a great birthday gift!!! Congratulations Brad!!
Royalty Rewards Program
The Candle Lake Golf Resort is pleased to announce the start of our Royalty Rewards Program. It is very simple, anybody can sign up to recieve your free membership. Once you sign up you will begin to earn points on every dollar spent at the Candle Lake Golf Resort. For every 200 points earned you will automatically receive a $10.00 gift certificate. You will earn points once you sign up as well as earning points for every friend that you sign up. Cards can be picked up at the pro shop, administration office and restaurant.
2010 Junior Golf Lessons
Sign up today for 3 - 45 minute sessions from our CPGA head proffesional Dean Manz. Dean has 7 years experience as a CPGA golf proffesional and was named the 2007 Junior promoter of the year. You will learn all aspects of the golf game. The grip, posture, chipping, pitching, full swing, course etiquette. The cost is $50.00 for three lessons.

Donation to the Victoria Hospital Foundation
On Friday August 26th, Rick and Linda Rumberger donated $5,000.00. Half of the donation came from the staff at the resort. All golf season long all staff pay $5.00 for golf and this money is kept for a donation to a local charity. Rick and Linda then match the donation themselves. The money will go to a great cause.
